Breakfast (served from 7:30 - 7:55 a.m.) and lunch are served daily in the cafeteria. Prices are subject to change.

Students and families are welcome. All Aina Haina School students must have a PrimeroEdge account. Families must pay exact cash amount. No change is available.

PRIMEROEDGE PrimeroEdge is an electronic system to keep tab of student meals. EACH student (siblings CANNOT share accounts) will have their own account in which monies will be deposited for the purchase of breakfast and/or lunch meal. PrimeroEdge School Nutrition software allows parents/guardians to view students purchases via PrimeroEdge’s SchoolCafe website (No longer available starting 1/22/18).

Our school district is Hawaii. Your student’s ID number can be found on their report card or on the balance reminders and receipts sent out by the school.

There is no fee for checking balances online, however,
there is a 5% fee for credit card payments. Feel free to check your child’s balance online but drop off payment as usual to the school office.

Payments made online can take up to 24 hours to be processed. Payments made in the office
between 7:30-8:00 a.m. should be available by lunch the same day. Payments made in the office after 8:00 a.m. will take 24 hours to be processed.

Cash and/or checks (payable to Department of Education) will be accepted. A $25.00 service fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

ID cards are used for grades 3-5 for lunch service. If a student loses, misplaces or the card is stolen:

  • 1st Replacement-----FREE

  • 2nd & subsequent replacement--$5.00 CHARGE


A loan may be obtained in the cafeteria (see cashier) during meals by a student who does not have sufficient funds in their account. In accordance with Hawaii DOE school food service procedure, loans are limited to a total of four student lunch prices ($10.00 for students who pay $2.50 for lunch, and $1.60 for students who pay $0.40 for lunch). Loans should be repaid on the following school day.

The Federal School Lunch Program offers free or reduced priced breakfast and lunch for those who meet the federal criteria. Applications will be sent out to every student at the beginning of each school year. The applications will also be available in the office or online at Please inform the office when your financial situation changes.
