AHS students and staff were visited by the Mayor Nobuaki Hattori of Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan on Friday, March 10. One of the grade 3 classes learned how to make onigiri (musubi) when he came. The student council and our Japanese speaking students then greeted him and presented him with english books about Hawaii! Our Japanese speaking students then gave him a tour around campus and talked about our programs at Aina Haina! Thank you Agena Sensei for planning such a wonderful visit for our students!
