2026 - 2027 School Year
Kindergarten Registration
Starts January 2, 2026
Interested in enrolling your child for Kindergarten for the 2026 - 2027 SY? Register your child by picking up or downloading and printing out a Registration Packet and dropping it off to our school office between 9:00 and 3:30, or by filling out the Online Registration Form beginning January 2, 2026. Since the 2014 school year, children must be five years of age on or before July 31 of the school year to enter kindergarten. You can read more information on the HIDOE Kindergarten FAQs.
2026 - 2027 School Year
Geographic Exception (GE)
Starts January 2, 2026
Interested in enrolling your child at our school but live out of district? Or do you live in our district but would like to attend a school outside of our district? You must apply for a GE (Geographic Exception) in order to do so.
GE Forms should be picked up and signed by the principal at your home school (forms must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope). You will need to also provide proof of residence. If your child is not currently attending Aina Haina Elementary, please also provide an MV1 form and original birth certificate.
GE applications for next school year shall be submitted between January 1 and March 1 to facilitate a decision before the end of the school year. However, applications for the current and next school year shall be accepted at other time periods whenever unforeseen circumstances arise, i.e. student relocates. Grade 1-5 Registration
Starts June 1, 2026
Will your child be enrolling in Grade 1-5 at Aina Haina School next school year? Register your child by filling out the Online Registration Form, download and print our Registration Packet and drop it off to our school, or come to the office during school hours to pick up a registration packet beginning June 1, 2026. Please see the Registration Checklist below for documentation requirements (including a Certificate of Release from your current school).
