VISITORS/VOLUNTEERS

Updated Visitor & Volunteer Practices (3/28/22)

Under our current Covid guidance, we respectfully request the following from our parents, guardians and community partners who may need to visit campus or may be administratively approved to volunteer. All of our staff are aware of these practices and expectations:  We will continue to limit the number and duration of non-staff on our campus. Face to face interactions will continue to be limited, to the extent possible, with the continued use of virtual remote platforms to maximize communication between school and home.
Other than for student drop off and pick up, all visitors, regardless of visit duration or reason for visit, must report to the front office in one of two ways:
1. HIDOE employees or service providers with an appropriate ID may check in with their phone via the QR Code found on the office front door.
2. All others should check in at the office via the office front counter for verification of ID.
Thank you in advance for working with us regarding the following practices:
1. Before coming to campus, please do a daily wellness self- check for any symptoms that may potentially be a respiratory illness such as Covid. If any symptom is present or you may have been exposed to Covid, please reschedule any appointments, and avoid being on campus.
2. Set up appointments in advance to meet virtually or remotely with intended staff.
3. Volunteerism continues to be limited. All volunteerism needs to be approved by administration.
4. Everyone is expected to be properly masked whenever indoors. Masking is optional whenever outdoors.
5. Please continue maintain social distance and execute frequent and quality hand hygiene while on campus.

Please visit our COVID-19 Information page to view current HIDOE covid protocols and the Covid Symptom Wellness Check.
